Partners with BreastfeedMIAMI to host community events
July 28, 2022 — The Florida Department of Health (DOH) in Miami-Dade County is celebrating National Breastfeeding Month this August. In recognition, various Miami-Dade County organizations have partnered to host 2022 BreastfeedMIAMI. This year’s theme— Together We Do Great Things! – focuses on the power and impact our collective efforts have on families and communities. This happens through our daily efforts as we provide service, support and education to all babies, mothers, fathers, and the family unit.
BreastfeedMIAMI is a community catalyst in advocating, promoting, and supporting breastfeeding to empower mothers, fathers, partners, and families to breastfeed their children throughout Miami-Dade County. BreastfeedMIAMI envisions Miami-Dade County as a breastfeeding-friendly community, with equity, diversity, and inclusion.
